Explain BLU R2 compatibility with AT&T
BLU R2 has modal variants LTE R0150EE and LTE R0170WW.
AT&T 3G APN with BLU R2
BLU R2 supports AT&T 3G on HSDPA 850 MHz and 1900 MHz.
AT&T 4G LTE APN with BLU R2
Compatibility of BLU R2 with AT&T 4G depends on the modal variants LTE R0150EE and LTE R0170WW.
LTE R0150EE
BLU R2 LTE R0150EE does not support AT&T 4G LTE.
LTE R0170WW
BLU R2 LTE R0170WW supports AT&T 4G on LTE Band 12 700 MHz and Band 17 700 MHz.
It will also support AT&T 4G on LTE Band 4 1700/2100 MHz and Band 2 1900 MHz only in some areas of United States.
Overall compatibililty of BLU R2 with AT&T is 100%. The compatibility of BLU R2 with AT&T, or the AT&T network support on BLU R2 we have explained here is only a technical specification match between BLU R2 and AT&T network. Even BLU R2 is listed as compatible here, AT&T network can still disallow (sometimes) BLU R2 in their network using IMEI ranges. Therefore, this only explains if AT&T allows BLU R2 in their network, whether BLU R2 will work properly or not, in which bands BLU R2 will work on AT&T and the network performance between AT&T and BLU R2. To check if BLU R2 is really allowed in AT&T network please contact AT&T support. Do not use this website to decide to buy BLU R2 to use on AT&T.
