For Huawei P9, when you type Boost Mobile APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering Boost Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings make sure you enter APN as Boost_Mobile and not as BOOST_MOBILE or Boost_mobile.
