Consumer Cellular APN settings for Archos 40 Cesium

Archos 40 Cesium is compatible with Consumer Cellular GSM and Archos 40 Cesium is not compatible with Consumer Cellular HSDPA.

We do not recommend using Archos 40 Cesium with Consumer Cellular as 40 Cesium will only support Consumer Cellular 2G in United States. The data transfer speeds with 40 Cesium will be extremely low for Consumer Cellular . Check the compatibility of Archos 40 Cesium with Consumer Cellular for the details.

Consumer Cellular Internet APN settings

Go to App list, tap Settings Cellular + SIM

If your phone supports more than 1 SIM card, choose SIM 1 settings or SIM 2 settings depending on the SIM that you want to use for Consumer Cellular 1.
Turn on Data Connection.

Enable Use cellular data in For limited Wi-Fi connectivity
If you have more than 1 SIM card choose the SIM card for data connection in SIM for data connection
Enable 3G connection for faster data transfer speeds. Also enable Highest connection speed

Internet Configuration Settings:

In Cellular + SIM Settings, select SIM settings Add Internet APN
If you have a dual SIM phone select the SIM card.

Change the below settings

APN: att.mvno
User name:
Password:
Authentication type:
Proxy server (URL):
Proxy port:
IP type: IPv4

Tap Save



Consumer Cellular MMS APN settings

Go to App list, tap Settings Cellular + SIM

If your phone supports more than 1 SIM card, choose SIM 1 settings or SIM 2 settings depending on the SIM that you want to use for Consumer Cellular 3.
Turn on Data Connection.

MMS Configuration Settings:

WAP gateway (URL): proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com
WAP gateway port: 80
MMSC (URL): http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMSC port:
Maximum MMS size: 1024
IP Type: IPv4

Tap Save.


For Archos 40 Cesium, when you type Consumer Cellular APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering Consumer Cellular Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as att.mvno and not as ATT.MVNO or Att.mvno .
