GCI APN settings for Apple iPhone 5
Apple iPhone 5 is compatible with GCI CDMA, GCI GSM, GCI HSDPA and GCI LTE.
To configure GCI APN settings with Apple iPhone 5 follow below steps.
GCI Internet APN settings
In the main menu, tap Settings
Tap Cellular.
Check that Cellular Data is turned on.
Tap Cellular Data Options and then Cellular Data Network.
(If this setting does not appear on the device, it has not unlocked and settings cannot be configured manually.)
Go to Cellular Data section and enter below information
APN: web.gci
Username:
Password:
Go to LTE Setup (Optional) section and enter below information
APN: (Leave Blank)
Username: (Leave Blank)
Password: (Leave Blank)
Press the Home button to save the APN and exit to the main screen.
Restart the device.
GCI MMS APN settings
In the main menu, tap Settings
Tap Cellular.
Check that Cellular Data is turned on.
Tap Cellular Data Options and then Cellular Data Network.
(If this setting does not appear on the device, it has not unlocked and settings cannot be configured manually.)
Enter the below details in MMS section:
APN: mms.gci
Username:
Password:
MMSC: http://mmsc.gci.net
MMS Proxy: 24.237.158.34:9201
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
Press the Home button to save the APN and exit to the main screen.
Restart the device.
If the above GCI MMS APN settings do not work on your iPhone 5, make below changes to GCI MMS APN settings to get GCI MMS on your Apple iPhone 5.

For Apple iPhone 5, when you type GCI APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering GCI Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as web.gci and not as WEB.GCI or Web.gci. If entering GCI MMS APN Settings above to your Apple iPhone 5, APN should be entered as mms.gci and not as MMS.GCI or Mms.gci.
