GCI APN settings for HTC U Play

HTC U Play is compatible with GCI GSM, GCI HSDPA and HTC U Play is not compatible with GCI LTE.

To configure GCI APN settings with HTC U Play follow below steps.

For HTC U Play, when you type GCI APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering GCI Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as web.gci and not as WEB.GCI or Web.gci. If entering GCI MMS APN Settings above to your HTC U Play, APN should be entered as mms.gci and not as MMS.GCI or Mms.gci.

GCI 2G APN with HTC U Play

HTC U Play supports GCI 2G on GSM 1900 MHz and 850 MHz.
It will also support GCI 2G on GSM 1900 MHz and 850 MHz only in some areas of United States.

GCI 3G APN with HTC U Play

HTC U Play supports GCI 3G on HSDPA 1900 MHz and 850 MHz.
It will also support GCI 3G on HSDPA 1900 MHz and 850 MHz only in some areas of United States.

GCI 4G LTE APN with HTC U Play

HTC U Play does not support GCI 4G LTE.

Overall compatibililty of HTC U Play with GCI is 50%. The compatibility of HTC U Play with GCI, or the GCI network support on HTC U Play we have explained here is only a technical specification match between HTC U Play and GCI network. Even HTC U Play is listed as compatible here, GCI network can still disallow (sometimes) HTC U Play in their network using IMEI ranges. Therefore, this only explains if GCI allows HTC U Play in their network, whether HTC U Play will work properly or not, in which bands HTC U Play will work on GCI and the network performance between GCI and HTC U Play.
