LG K40 is compatible with Google Fi GSM 50%, Google Fi HSDPA 50% and LG K40 is not compatible with Google Fi LTE.

Restart LG K40 to apply new Google Fi 2 APN settings.
For LG K40, when you type Google Fi APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering Google Fi Internet & MMS APN settings make sure you enter APN as h2g2 and not as H2G2 or H2g2.
