T-Mobile APN settings for Ubuntu

T-Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings

Go to Network and open Cellular settings...

Select Carrier & APN and turn Cellular data. Open APN

For internet settings create Custom Internet APN and enter below information.

Internet APN: fast.t-mobile.com
User name:
Password:
Authentication:
Protocol: IPv4

Click Activate


For MMS settings create Custom MMS APN and enter below information.

MMS APN: fast.t-mobile.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Proxy:
Proxy Port:
Username:
Password:
Authentication:
Protocol: IPv4

Click Activate

If the above T-Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings do not work on your Ubuntu device, make below changes to T-Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings to get T-Mobile US 160 on your Ubuntu device.

If the above T-Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings too do not work on your Ubuntu device, make below changes to T-Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings to get Walmart Family Mobile via T-Mobile on your Ubuntu device.

Straight Talk for T-Mobile APN Settings

Go to Network and open Cellular settings...

Select Carrier & APN and turn Cellular data. Open APN

For internet settings create Custom Internet APN and enter below information.

Protocol: IPv4

Click Activate


For MMS settings create Custom MMS APN and enter below information.

MMS APN: wap.tracfone
MMSC: http://mms.tracfone.com

Password:
Authentication: None
Protocol: IPv4

Click Activate

On Ubuntu, APN settings should be entered in correct case. For example, if you are configuring your APN setting with T-Mobile Internet & MMS APN settings configuration above, make sure you enter APN as fast.t-mobile.com and not as FAST.T-MOBILE.COM or Fast.t-mobile.com. If entering T-Mobile to your Ubuntu device, APN should be entered as epc.tmobile.com and not as EPC.TMOBILE.COM or Epc.tmobile.com.
